WORKSHEET A2-B1My name is Olivia, and the next few weeks are going to be some of the busiest weeks of my year. I usually plan things only a few days ahead, but this month is different. I have family events, personal goals, school projects, and a short trip coming up, so I’m trying to organize everything carefully.
Next Saturday, I’m going to visit my grandparents. They live two hours away in a small town, and I haven’t seen them since Christmas. I miss them a lot. I already bought my train ticket, so I’m definitely going to take the morning train. My grandma said she is going to cook my favorite lunch, and my grandpa says he will show me some old photos he found in the attic. I know it will be a relaxing day.
On Sunday, I don’t have any fixed plans. After such a busy week, I think I will just stay home and rest. Maybe I will watch a movie or clean my room — I’m not sure yet. I like having at least one slow day.
Monday is going to be stressful, because I have a doctor’s appointment early in the morning, and after that I’m going to start working on a new school project. It’s a big assignment, and I know it will take many hours. I’m not excited, but I promised myself I am going to finish it before the deadline, not at the last minute like I usually do.
The next weekend will be more fun. My friends and I are going to go to a music festival outside the city. We bought the tickets months ago, and now we’re planning the details: how to get there, what time to meet, and what snacks to bring. The weather forecast says it’s going to be sunny and warm, so I’m sure the festival will be amazing. One of my favorite bands is playing, and I think they will perform some of their new songs.
In two weeks, I’m going to sign up for a cooking class. I’ve wanted to learn how to cook better for a long time, but I always said, “I will do it later.” This time I’m really motivated. The course lasts six weeks, and I hope it will help me eat healthier and prepare nicer meals. My mom thinks I will enjoy it a lot because I love trying new foods.
I also have a few uncertain plans. My cousin might visit me at the end of the month. She hasn’t confirmed it yet, but if she comes, we will probably go shopping, walk around downtown, and watch a movie together. If she doesn’t come, then I’m going to reorganize my apartment because it really needs a deep cleaning. I’ve been putting it off for weeks.
Finally, at the very end of the month, I’m going to apply for a part-time job at a local bookstore. I’m not sure if they will hire me, but I want to try. I love books, and I think it will be a great experience. If I get the job, I will save money for a weekend trip in the summer. If not, I’m going to focus on school until the semester ends.
All in all, the next few weeks are going to be busy, exciting, and full of new experiences. I know I’ll be tired, but I’m also sure I will learn a lot and enjoy most of the things I planned.
